EZHONG Heavy Machinery · ezhongmachine.com

1. Scope & Applicability

EZHONG ships heavy industrial machinery worldwide to steel plants, shipyards, boiler and pressure-vessel manufacturers, and engineering firms. Because each machine is engineered to order, shipping is handled per the individual contract. This policy applies to orders placed with EZHONG Heavy Machinery.

2. Made-to-Order Lead Time

Our plate rolling, leveling, and press machines are built to specification. Typical lead time is stated in the quotation and begins after contract signing, down-payment, and final technical clarification.

3. Incoterms & Delivery

Delivery is per the agreed Incoterms® (commonly EXW our factory, FOB Qingdao/Shanghai, or CIF destination port). Risk and title transfer according to the chosen Incoterm.

4. Packaging

Machines are packed for long-distance ocean/rail transport: seaworthy export wooden crates, rust-proof wrapping, and shock protection for precision components.

5. Freight & Logistics

We arrange or coordinate international ocean/rail freight through vetted forwarders. Bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin are provided. The buyer may appoint its own forwarder.

6. Import Duties, Taxes & Customs

The buyer is responsible for import duties, VAT, customs clearance, and local delivery unless the Incoterm states otherwise. The buyer must provide accurate destination, HS codes, and supporting documentation.

7. Inspection & Acceptance

Pre-shipment inspection and factory acceptance test (FAT) can be arranged. Goods are deemed accepted per the contract upon arrival and successful commissioning/inspection.

8. Tracking & Documents

Shipment tracking and full shipping documents are shared once the vessel or rail departs.

9. Delays & Force Majeure

Delays from customs, weather, port congestion, or force majeure are outside our control. We will keep you informed and assist with alternatives where possible.

10. Contact

Shipping questions: [email protected], +86 13929593079.

11. Order Processing & Confirmation

After contract signing and receipt of the down-payment, we issue a production plan and estimated ready-date. Any change to specifications after confirmation may affect lead time and price and requires a written amendment.

12. Partial Shipments & Backorders

For projects with multiple machines or spare-part kits, we may ship in partial lots with your agreement. Back-ordered items are dispatched as soon as available; we will confirm the schedule in writing.

13. Shipping Methods & Routes

Heavy machines are normally shipped by sea (FCL / flat-rack / break-bulk) from Qingdao, Shanghai, or Tianjin. For inland or urgent deliveries we can arrange rail or multimodal transport. The optimal route is proposed in the quotation.

14. Tracking & Shipping Documents

On departure we provide the bill of lading (or rail waybill), commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and (where applicable) CE / inspection certificates and HS codes. Tracking numbers are shared for containerized shipments.

15. Risk of Loss & Title Transfer

Risk and title pass at the point defined by the agreed Incoterms (e.g., EXW: at our factory; FOB: on board the vessel; CIF: on board at load port). After transfer, the buyer bears loss or damage except for claims against the carrier / insurer.

16. Damaged or Short-Shipment Claims

Visible loss / damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported to the carrier and to us within 3 business days of arrival, with photos. Concealed damage must be reported within 7 days. We assist with carrier / insurance claims but are not the insurer.

17. Storage, Demurrage & Redelivery

If the buyer cannot take delivery at the agreed time, storage and demurrage / container-detention charges at the port or warehouse are for the buyer's account. We will hold goods safely and propose redelivery options.

18. Insurance

For CIF / CFR shipments we arrange marine cargo insurance to the contract value (typically 110%). For EXW / FOB, the buyer arranges insurance from the transfer point. We can recommend coverage for project cargo on request.
